Nike free

As i have previously mentioned i have become very interested in light weight Nike shoes. I decided to get Stefanie invloved in my new intrest and bought her some Nike free 5.0, they were a bargain from TKMaxx for £8.00! I really like the colours grey, pink and white they work well together and are perfect for a girl. Stefanie was relectant to let me buy them as she dislikes trainers but once she felt how comfortable the were she couldn't say no.

I decided i needed some more free 5.0 so when i saw an ebay auction for one of my favourite shoes i couldn't say no! They wer £69.99 in the shops and got them for £19.99 which i am rather pleased with

They are created by the Japanese store Atmos and they are fully reflective with 3m, which is fantastic when light hits the material.

I was also extremely impressed with the whole package which was included with the Atmos free. A booklet describing the design and the features was included along with another pair of laces and an extra set of 4.5 insoles.

Below is a comparisson of the 4.5 with the 5.0 insole. The 5.0 includes an air section on the heel and ball of the foot which increases the comfort of the shoe considerably. The 4.5 is used if cushioning is not needed.

I have also purchased the Atmos free trail, this is the same shoe as the Stussy free featured previously however it has been given the Atmos treatment! It again features 3m and it also completed the Atmos Free set.

First Hostel Booked

We are flying to Paris on the 03/06/07 , we booked with easyjet at a cost of just over £20 each. Our first hostel is called Boissiere, its located about 10 mins from central Paris and it looks great.

The hostel has had some good reviews with an average rating of 76.6%

We shall be staying in Paris for two nights, the next stop is Cologne.

Tickets

My interail global pass arrived today. I'm not that impressed with the pass, its only made out of carbon paper and it could easily get damaged, i expected more for £280! I ordered my ticket direct from interail as they were the cheapest, sta travel were very expensive they wanted to charge over £300. The pack the sent me came with a rail map of Europe which will be very usefull.

My other tickets arrived today aswell.... i am so excited! Kaka and Ronaldinho have both confimed that they are playing so its going to be a great event.

Nike Mayfly

The mayfly is the most impressive nike shoe i have every worn. Its incredibly light. The shoe has excellent cushioning and very comfortable. Although it feels flimsy the shoe is strong and is made out of ripstop nylon. I really love the technical side of the shoe and i theory behind it.

The shoe is named after the insect the mayfly which is born, reproduces and dies all in one day, therefore is extremely efficient. The shoe is designed to last only 100km, the reasoning behind the shoes states that for every extra gram you carry you use 1% more energy, for this reason the mayfly is made to be as light as possible. Nike thrive to produce a shoe which will last the duration of the race and support the athlete fully but once the athlete crosses the finish line it will fall apart and as a result be as efficient as possible

Backpack

I celebrated my 21st Birthday last month, i had a great party at uni, apparently as i don't remember much.

From my Grandfather i asked for a backpack for travelling. The backpack is an essential item for any traveller, as it basically holds all of your possessions.

i bought a Tresspass 65 litre pack. I looked for ages to find one i liked and i was lucky enough to find on in TK Maxx. I really like the bag, its very functional and i like the colour. The bag as has a day sack which clips on the front which can be used as a small daytime backpack, i really like this idea although i probably won't use it.

I'm going to get a Union Jack or a St Georges flag badge to put on the bag to customise it. i will also be investing in a lock so that i can lock my bag to myself or anything else for security when sleeping.

Shoes

I am very interested in fashion, i guess my style could be labeled as 'street wear.' i love brands such as Stussy, Nike, Edwin, Supreme, Futura Labs, FHI, MHI, Maharishi, Bounty hunter, Ralph Lauren, Carhartt etc

i have had a intrest in trainers for the last 5 years, at the start i was mainly focused upon classic / OG style Adidas, but in the last two years i have become much more intrested in Nike. I have a collection of nearly 100 pairs or so. I am not really guided by hype i just buy what i like. i have many rare shoes and a great selection of early sb's.

Air Max 1 Ben Dury

Air Max 1 Atmos

I have recently become intrested in light weight running shoes. I bought my first pair of Air Max 1's (Hold Tight) and that started a new intrest. Over the last few weeks i have bought various light weight running shoes including the Nike Free, Stussy Free Trail and Nike Mayfly. All theses shoes are durable, light weight, space saving and comfortable.
